TEENS!
Hey guys, this program is for you. We need your input, your participation, your time, and your talent! There are many ways to get involved. Read on to find a way that best suits you!

Greeters
Join our core team and greet your friends and family as they enter the church. We like to personally welcome everyone who attends LIFE TEEN and we have many doors to cover and many programs to hand out. If you are interested, see any member of the core team to sign up for a Mass. You will receive a reminder call the week before Mass and we ask that you come at 5:40 pm to receive instructions from a core member.

Lectors
Share the good news and proclaim the Word of God. We need three readers to participate at each Mass - someone to read the first reading, the second reading, and the petitions. If you are interested, see any member of the core team to sign up for a Mass. You will receive a reminder call the week before Mass and we ask that you come at 5:30 pm to receive last minute instructions. We also ask that you practice your reading with a core member a day or two before Mass.

Gift Bearers
Prepare the altar and bring forth the gifts for the celebration of the Eucharist. We need four gift bearers to participate at each Mass; the corporal (a small white cloth for the altar), the collection basket, the bread, and the wine are brought forward. If you are interested, see any member of the core team to sign up for a Mass. You will receive a reminder call the week before Mass and we ask that you come at 5:40 pm to receive instructions from a core member.

Banner Carrier
We need one person to carry our LIFE TEEN Banner in the entrance procession at Mass.  We ask that you come at 5:40 pm.

Altar Servers
Serve the Lord by serving at Mass. We need at least three altar servers to participate at each Mass. One to carry the cross, and two to carry the candles in the procession. Altar servers also assist the presider. If you are interested, see any member of the core team to sign up for a Mass. You will receive a reminder call the week before Mass and we ask that you come at 5:40 pm to receive instructions from a core member.

Revelation (Music Ministry)
Share your gift of music and help us lead the congregation in praising the Lord through song. Join this upbeat, contemporary group and help provide the wonderful music that makes LIFE TEEN so unique. Our group consists of  piano, guitar, bass, flutes, trumpets, clarinets, drums, percussion, and voices.  If you are interested in joining Revelation, see Derrick.

Young Core
Take on a leadership role in LIFE TEEN and help plan future events. We are looking to have a group of six leaders again this year. The group represents their peers at 3 - 4  meetings throughout the year. They help plan events and suggest issues for LIFE Nights. If you are interested, see a core member.

PARENTS!
Hey parents, this program is for your kids. We need your help, your participation, your time, and your talent! There are many ways to get involved. Read on to find a way that best suits you!

Refreshments
The core team plans the LIFE Nights and every LIFE Night involves food. Help the team out by purchasing (you will be reimbursed) and preparing snack foods such as chips, cookies, ice cream, candy, sodas and juices. Usually the food ties into a theme so your creativity is most welcome.

Trips
LIFE TEEN travels a few times during the year. Trips in the past have included the Renaissance Faire, rafting, Phantoms game, Blue Rocks game, and Linvilla Orchards. Help out by making a few phone calls to gather information on various trips.

Music Equipment
We need a few people to help set up the music equipment at 3:30 pm for Mass and break it down following Mass.

Secretarial
The key to this program is communication, and that usually happens through the mail. Help keep the lines of communication open by photocopying letters, stuffing and addressing envelopes.

Publicity
We need to get the word out. Help out by writing articles for the newspaper, placing announcements in the bulletin, distributing flyers around town, updating our web site, sending out postcards, and any other way you can think of to spread the word about LIFE TEEN to our teens.
