PLEASE MARK THESE DATES IN YOUR CALENDARS, ON YOUR WALLS, IN YOUR LOCKERS
or wherever you look on a regular basis so you do not forget. Hopefully
everyone will be able to make all of the dates but if for some reason you
are unable to make the Mass, email, call, send a post card, sky-write it,
just let me know so we can adjust!
Remember Life Teen Mass starts at 6:30 PM on the second Sunday of the month
(unless otherwise noted). Mass days, we will rehearse from 4:30 PM TO 6 to
prepare ourselves for the Mass.
Also plan for a short rehearsal on Saturdays before the Mass. Last year we
would meet at 10 am and go for as long as we needed. I am flexible with
times. If there is another time or day you would like where more people
could be involved I am all for it. Just let me know. We can take the group
to the next level with more rehearsal, however we will have to find a good
time for everyone because we are competing with sports, music, drama, work,
etc
If anyone has any concerns or questions about anything please feel free to
email or call at any time. I am here to help you in any way I can.
Please plan on a rehearsal this Saturday the 13th
of Sept. so we can organize all the logistics for what we need to do on the
14th. I would like to start around 10 am so we can be out by 11:30 am or so.
I know some may have other commitments and things to do that day, band work
etc...but any time you can spare would be good just to get familiar with the
songs.
Remember this Sunday is our first
big day! There is still plenty of music in my box at the St. Francis
Rectory if you would like get it and practice at home.
Sound crew should arrive by 4 to help with set-up. Everyone else get there
by 4:30 PM because we will need every minute to go through the material. Of
course you are welcomed to come early to help set up.
How many
would be up for a social gathering on Fri evening after school for those
that are in school around 5 or 6 (we can go as early as 4 and as late as
7). I know how important Friday nights are in your lives so I don't want to
take it all up. However if enough people confirm they are coming we can do
a pizza thing or something like that.
Also I need to do an up-to date mailing address/email/phone list. Please
send me your info - I want to compile a list so that we can reach each other
by any means necessary. If you don't feel comfy sending email, give it to
me this weekend.
Again if you can make it on Saturday morning let me know so I know who to
expect.
